When Register to make a Comment is clicked the email received by the user takes them to the wordpress site to set up a login to the backend of the site?

I just want them to be able to make a comment.

This occurs when:

I have comments enabled in Theme Panel.

I have “anyone can register” and “Subscriber” selected in Settings.

I have “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” in Settings.

You can allow a subscriber to register to your website as a subscriber will not have access to your back-end: https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
