One last question for now, I created single post templates and added a button. I don’t want it a URL, so I didn’t add one. However you can still click on the button and it just refreshes the page. Here is the link for the example and check out where it says “Epic”

There will be a placeholder link “#” if no URL is entered in the button settings. The button can be clicked in that state, I could give you a code to use a button with no link and make it not clickable.
Do you have this kind of buttons in other posts and do you want them to have the same behaviour? Or specifically for this post?

Buttons in other posts I would have and need the same behavior. I have 5 unique single page templates using the code, and just want it to display as a button but not a URL.
A code like this will make the buttons have no link interaction
.single article .tdm_block_button .tdm-btn {
pointer-events: none!important;
}
It will apply to post pages, where a button is displayed in the article. Give it a try.

The predefined category templates only have the settings in the theme panel, there would be no options for adding buttons in them.
Only if the button was manually entered as code in the category template files, it would show up in the category page
