Removing posts and sidebar from homepage

I’ve installed the Video News them for Newspaper and been experimenting with editing the front page. There’s a section at the bottom that shows the most recent posts and a sidebar which I can’t remove. The visual editor will not allow me to select it. Same for the footer.

Where/how do I edit these components?

Hi,

I think you are referring to Trending Now , this appear because the page template is set on Page Builder + Latest Articles + Pagination

Thanks. Is there a way to edit these templates? It seems right now my only choice is to either have this section at the bottom of the home page or get rid of everything, including the footer.
