Hello,
I’m bringing in a team to help with our newspaper…. they will only be posting articles, and won’t be modifying the design.
How can I restrict access so certain users can post content but not edit the design?

make them contributors? check out wordpress user levels not managed by theme

Hello,
You can create a frontend submission in the frontend https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-frontend-submission-form/, and the role can be a subscriber, or you can do them contributors. The design changes are saved only if made by the admin or editor.
