I would like to subscribe to the latest version of revolution slider. Is it compatible with Newspaper theme?

Hi,

The revolution slider is provided bundled with the theme in the plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ and works great with the theme. You can install the slider like this – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/ then import a demo slider using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/ The demo sliders are located in the main theme package – https://www.screencast.com/t/IaXXosUgoS6 You can preview them live in the corresponding demos – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_cars/

Hello Simlon,

I realise revolution slider is bundled with the theme but I want to use the revolution slider functions that aren’t bundled with the theme. My question is whether the latest version of revolution slider is compatible with Newspaper theme. Is it?

Hi,

Please note that the theme will provide a new version of the Revolution slider plugin along with the theme updates, and after it has been tested for compatibility accordingly, taking in account every aspect of the update. This is related to the Visual composer plugin also. The version that is included in the package is fully compatible with the theme, but I can not say for sure that a new version of the plugin will be too.
