Hello,
I have your theme installed and working since quite a few months, updated everything everytime and I’m trying to show my first slider (Revolution Slider) in a page (home and test).

In the admin I can see the slider preview, but not in the front end.
I have one set up with visual composer in the home and another in a test page. Both doesn’t show up.

Test page URL:
http://www.pizzaeimpasti.it/prova-slider/

Can you help me?

ALberto

Hello Alberto,

Please try to read the plugin’s documentation and please ensure that you have followed all the correct steps in order to achieve best results. For more references, please check here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7rBZmYgfUU -> https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
Please notice that this type of plugin is a bigger one and has a lot of settings. Probably you have not set properly and because of this, you cannot have results.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the message!

Hello,
the problem is that I set up a slider, with slides, which is possibile to see in preview in the revslider backend, but it doesn’t show up in a normal Newspaper page.

It’s something I can’t understand and I think depends on something in your theme (in the plugin admin I can see the preview): I just put the shortcut in a text block (I tried with visual composer revslider 5 module too) and nothing appears on the front end.

Any directions?

Thanks,
Alberto

Hello alberto.donzelli,

It seems to be a matter of saving. Please ensure that this issue does not come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, if you are using the Wordfence plugin, please notice that this type of plugin creates some issue through theme and does not allow you to save your settings. Please try without plugins and check the results. If the problem is related to Wordfence plugin, please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/ because there you will find a workaround in this regard.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the message!

Hi Catalin,
solved!

(you can see the first slider test in the home page http://www.pizzaeimpasti.it )

It was “WP deferred javaScript” that changed something in the way js would loaded.
Finally I disabled it and it works (with Wordfence enabled, no problem from it)

Thanks,
Alberto
