Set thumbnail without using featured image

Hi,

I’m trying to set an thumbnail for a post without using a featured image. I want the thumbnail for the post to be an image of the pie chart that is located here: https://muhlenbergweekly.com/news/college-resists-call-divestment/

I don’t want to have an image at the top of a post of the same embedded interactive chart located further down. Hopefully this makes sense.

Is this type of thing possible?

Try to use Post template Style 5 (without featured image):

Set thumbnail for the post – image of the pie chart (in your case). Style 5 does not use the featured image.
