I am using an ads plugin that requires shortcode. I need to add the short code to:
1. The homepage
2. Sidebar ad: Theme Panel >> Ads >> Sidebar ad
Please let me know how to do this for both 1 and 2.

You can use the ad box which has 3 sections for ads: using theme panel ads -> https://i.imgur.com/KFa9ibl.png, using images/banners -> https://i.imgur.com/MfAPTaE.png and custom code -> https://i.imgur.com/2rh8SuD.png save it and will appear on the post (you can set a shortcode like a shortcode from adrotate plugin or other plugins)

Is the ad block in Newsmag different? It does not have the three sections you mentioned, only an option to choose a sidebar or custom ad block.
when i put AdRotate shortcode in the ad slots in the theme panel, it doesn’t work.

Yes, for Newsmag the ad box has another structure.
It should normally work if you put the code in the Theme Panel. Also, the section for newsmag is here https://forum.tagdiv.com/forum/newsmag/
