My sidebar doesn’t show up on the site. When I try to set it up in the widget area, There is no sidebar where I can drag widgets to.

Hello,
Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. There should be sidebars in the widgets area (ones you create or the default footer sections).
Please try to create a few sidebars and check again:
