Hi TagDiv Team,
what I just tried was to find a way to add a block to my post-sidebar, which shows articles from the same category the current article is from MINUS the article the user is currently reading.
How can I manage to realize that?
Thanks!

Hi,
Unfortunately blocks cannot detect the post category. Blocks can be filtered from block settings and added to the sidebar from the widgets area but there is no option to detect the current post and grab the category as a post filter. This is done by the related articles section but that element was created that way. Other blocks do not have this option unfortunately.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you update your theme to the latest version as there was an issue with the related articles element that was fixed in the current version. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
It’s very odd that the widget blocks don’t filter out the post you’re currently on. What you currently can end up with is the post you’re viewing appearing on the sidebar, which just looks silly. This suggestion seemed to be to prevent that, which seems like a good idea? (Essentially a validation of not showing/skipping the post being viewed)
