I have newspaper installed as my blog theme and the sidebar to sort by catetogy is not loading. I have gone through the site settings and am pretty sure it is enabled everywhere it should be. Including theme settings and on the individual posts themselves.

Having the same issue. The factory imported templates work fine, but the downloaded clout template does not work properly (or I am missing something). Have checked the global and individual post set-up but still having issues.
Issue: the sidebar does not appear but when scrolling up it appears over the main body text (https://prnt.sc/oiqp2b).

@Pomplemoose So the sidebar doesn’t appear even when set for posts individually. Should appear fine if the sidebar contains widgets and is set to appear, for example

Maybe you are using various characters in the sidebar name, this will remove the widgets from it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
@webforu There is a case when that might happen. Is the WPBakery plugin active? If possible try to deactivate it and check if the cloud template displays properly.
If that is the case, I could provide a quick fix for it, please post a link to where I can see the problem happening.
