the site is working because I have deactivated the child Theme
Reactivating the child theme the site goes blank

I made a restore of previous backup. Now the site is Working good with 4.7 NewsMag version.
The problem seems to be your last theme update.
– Updating in local site goes blank.
– Similar problems appens to other site with Newspaper theme after last (10.2) update.

Hi,
If you are updating the theme from Newsmag v4.7 to v.9.1 then the problem is the child theme, we rote an article about the major changes in Newsmag v4.9 -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ , some files was moved from the theme core, therefore the child theme need to be replace with the one from the Newsmag v4.9.1 according to our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
If this is not the problem, then please provide some more details and some screenshots, or a link where I can indemnify the problem.

In the links you send me i can’t find how to update the Child Theme version with new one keeping customization we made on the actual child theme.

Actual child theme version is named 1.1 in the style.css info and Newsmag 2.0 Child theme in the functions.php file info

So in the latest version of the Newsmag theme, you’ll need to use the child that comes with the theme packages because there were some changes in theme core, you can check more about this in our article from here -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ , therefore the child theme functions were changed also is possible that the files you have inside the child to not longer be on that path, most of theme was moved in tagDiv Composer.
What you’ll need to do to update the child is actually replace it with the new version and if you customize some post templates set them in the child folder in two sub-folders ( parts/single ) as in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

Maybe you don’t realize the problems you are creating with this theme update and with the adoption of the TagDiv Composer.
I have another site with the NewsPaper theme with analogues problems due to the update.
Because of you after wasting time looking for a solution, we are now forced to pay the developer again to set up the site.

TagDiv Composer is not an adopted plugin, is the theme builder, the WPBakery ( old Visual Composer ) is a bundled one -> https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins
Please notice that these changes that were made in the latest updates were requirements from Envato -> https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ therefore the theme functions were moved in tagDiv Composer ( this is the theme builder ) also the child theme need to be changed to work as expected.
