Hey guys! I have the following problem: Every now and then i cant reach my site for a few hours (www.teilado.de) so this time i decidet to contacted my webhost to ask if they are having server problems which they denied. However they told me that they have found some errors in the error_log of the server and they said it must be theme related. This is what they sent me:

Do you guys know what this error_log means?? Would greatly appreciate your help!

Basically it looks like you tried to run the patch updater and PHP couldn’t do the upgrade using fastcgi vs running as apache.
Likely make sure you update your theme using the FTP method to upload new files, and make sure you DELETE any patch updater file on your server!
There should NOT be anything here after you upgrade
html/wp-content/themes/Newspaperpatch/

Sorry i think the name “newspaperpatch” caused a missunderstanding, I actually called the whole Newspaper Theme folder “Newspaperpatch” for me to remeber this is the pached theme…
I patched the theme manually (replaced all files) before the first time I installed it on wordpress
Just now the error occurred again: After 2 minutes of loading i get this message:
“An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.”
any other ideas? tough one to figure out i guess :/
Oh and i just realized that contrary to last time, backend works…. so i can access teilado.de/wp-admin but teilado.de wont load!

I have just checked your site and seems like it;s working now, do you still have this problem? If so please make sure you make a backup of your current theme files so you can revert if something goes wrong then updated the theme like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/

I always update the theme via FTP and always from the update folder, for example: 8.0-8.1 … 8.5-8.6.
The site and server are optimized very well. But, when 1000 visitors are simultaneously on the site, sometimes CPU overloads occur. Maybe this is the reason?

Try to use php version 7.0 but do not go beyond 7.1.0 as we have not tested above php 7.1
