In order for your images to fit properly you have to regenerate your thumbnails: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/.
If the images are too small and do not fit the container you can use a plugin named thumbnail upscale which enlarges your images to fit.

Thanks thumbnail upscale worked great, but the image looks a little stretched, are we able to resize the sliders anywhere?

The images are being stretched because this is how the plugin increases their size. It cannot resize and maintain quality. The only way to do this is to upload bigger images to your posts.
Unfortunately the slider or other block elements do not have an option for resizing. They have a fixed width and height in order to fit the containers and be responsive over multiple viewports.
