Slow "post_views_count_7_day" query causing high server load

Hi,

Recently i encounter huge MySQL process for my server, and almost all the queries are caused by “post_views_count_7_day”. Hence i have disabled the counter for “7 days post sorting” and also the “ajax view count”, but when i load the page, the 7 days sorting query is still loading (screenshot http://www.screencast.com/t/BfiVgFbl0)

Please advise.

Try deactivating the theme panel 7 days setting as well

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the theme panel setting has been disabled as well, (http://www.screencast.com/t/LW5R8n1zRweK) but the query is still loaded.

There would be no reason not to be disabled, if the option is disabled and the block sorting is a different one. Check all blocks and elements in pages, maybe the option is still selected for some of them. Additionally clear all caching and CDN if used.
