Hello. I’m having an issue with the Newspaper theme’s social counter links. When I add my Instagram account user name, the link for it has a # symbol at the end in the social counter link. I’ve tried deleting the account username and re-entering it, but I’m still having the same problem. Because of the # at the end of the URL, the link doesn’t work for site visitors, and my Instagram follower count doesn’t show up and only displays 0.

The social counter plugin can be edited using tagDiv Composer like this -> https://i.imgur.com/dnPOE8m.jpg click on social counter and set the Instagram id -> https://i.imgur.com/VPrExAO.jpg the problem with the link should be fix and in case that the number of follower can not be provide it will display 0, but you can set a fixed count.

I’ve tried deleting my instagram username “aegisalliance” saving the page, then re-entering the username and saving it again, but there’s still a # symbol at the end of the URL. Now it takes me to http://www.instagram.com/aegisalliance/# … the link works now, but it’s preventing the number of followers from showing up.

Unfortunately the followers number from Instagram can not be provide if you are login with your account of Instagram , for the moment the only solution is to use the fix count option or to use another plugin for social counter -> https://i.imgur.com/3BhyMWQ.jpg
