Hello,
I’m having trouble getting the Social Counter plugin to display my follower count. It doesn’t seem to be working for me.
I updated to the latest version of the NewsPaper theme today (Version: 12.6.5). While updating, I noticed it said the Social Counter plugin was out of date, so I allowed it to update to the newest version.
I have installed the social share counter plugin (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/J9m3eRV).
I have also connected the accounts I would like to use (see screenshots: FB: https://imgur.com/a/xZ1CMuc, IG: https://imgur.com/a/6FagWDf).
When I add the correct IDs for the accounts to the social counter plugin, it’s not grabbing the follower amounts and displaying them for me (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/vapaBZ9)
Can you help me figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Indeed, it seems to be an issue there. You can use the fixed count until we fix the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will use the fixed count until the live count feature is fixed.
Please let me know when it gets fixed and I can switch to the live count. I have email notifications turned on for this thread.

Hi just to follow up, the plug-in is actually crashing the site. It was working for about an hour but then the homepage (where it lives) crashed, and went blank. When I deactivated the social counter the page worked again. I then deleted the plug-in, re-installed, and same thing happened. When it’s activated the homepage goes blank. Any ideas? Thanks!

Yes those are all set up already and correctly. The problem is that when the block is added to the page, the page goes blank.
