We have noticed the follower counts on the TagDiv Social Counter have not been updating, likely for several years now. Particularly Facebook. Is there a way to force the update or fix the issue?

First, make sure you are using the latest version of the theme, 12.7.2. If you have an old version of the theme, make a full backup and update the theme.
If you already have the latest version, first check if you have set some fixed numbers for the social counter https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-intro/ https://i.imgur.com/ezLA45O.png
Another solution is to disable and delete tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter and reinstall them from Newspaper > plugins.

I’m experiencing the same issue, even after performing a completely fresh installation.
Currently, only Instagram follower counts are displaying correctly. Facebook and YouTube both show “0” followers, despite being properly connected.
What I’ve already done:
Added the YouTube API key
Confirmed the API key is active and not restricted
Completed all steps according to the documentation/instructions
Tested after a full new installation
Unfortunately, the issue persists.
Using a fixed follower count is not an acceptable workaround for us, as it requires manual updates and defeats the purpose of dynamic counters.
Is there a known solution or additional configuration required to correctly fetch Facebook and YouTube follower counts?

If the api keyes are set in the theme panel and the social counter is still not working, please make a full backup and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide temporary WP-Admin access to investigate the situation.
