I am using the most current Newspaper theme and I love it. When the social media counter pulls from my company’s Facebook page, it is using the total Facebook “likes” of the page. However, my total number of Facebook “followers” is much higher. The Newspaper theme previously used the total “followers”, but it’s now using the total “likes” instead.
How can I get the theme to use the total number of “followers” instead of “likes”?

Please verify if you do not have a fixed count set in the TagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-intro/
Try to reinstall the plugin and delete all the cache.

I’m not using the fixed count. I currently have the counter pointing to my Facebook ID. I tried reinstalling and deleting my browser cache, but the problem still persists.
The counter is showing the updates as new fans like my Facebook page. The counter is indeed updating. The problem is, the counter is pulling the total of Facebook “page likes”, as opposed to pulling the Facebook “followers”.
In the past, the social media counter pulled the “followers” count. For some reason now, it’s pulling the “page likes” data — instead of the “followers” data.

This counter is taking the “likes” number from your Facebook page. This is the way the counter has been working. Most likely, in the past, your counter had an error and wasn’t displaying the correct data.
