Some pages just don’t open when viewed on the mobile theme,

they open just fine as soon as I change to desktop view on my mobile browser. in mobile view, the page opens and only shows Page name and that’s just it.

Hi,

If you are using the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/n7fEXCy.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
If this is not what you mean, please provide me some more details.

Thank you!

hello.

I am using the mobile theme plugin.

however some pages just donot open – clicking on them just shows the page title and then straight the footer.

i just updated to the latest version of Newspaper theme, its still same as before.

Please have a look for yourself.

website : http://www.travelnewsy.com

pages that donot open are: About us, Contact us, events calander, privacy policy , editorial board

however if on chrome browser I click on desktop site –, all pages start opening up just fine.

what i didnt understand is, when you say use only mobile editor,
1) i dont get that option when i try creating a new page
2) basically you are suggesting to create 2 different pages for same content i.e. Two About us page ?? and so on? how do i go about assigning them to (for example) footer menu for mobile, and footer menu for normal website?

Hi,

The pages are not displaying because in mobile theme you need to set a new content with out builders, the content must be made using only the elements from mobile editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se if you copy and paste the page content this will not work.
So if you have the mobile theme plugin check in theme panel and if you have one of these elements -> https://i.imgur.com/a73lnhm.png then on all pages to need to set a content like this -> https://i.imgur.com/xhEhudb.png -> https://i.imgur.com/4AYjoEG.png -> https://i.imgur.com/rVmC7w8.png

Also the mobile and footer menu can be set in mobile theme from here -> https://i.imgur.com/Pjm0MFf.png

Thank you!
