Hello,
I just installed the latest Newspaper theme and cannot set/save any of the Theme Panel settings. Whenever I hit “save” I get the spinner and it never goes away. I have the Default PRO prebuilt installed.
Please advise…

I have the php “memory_limit” set to 5000M but your theme shows “40 MB/request”
**UPDATE**
I have defined in the wp-config.php file the:
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );
and now the Theme Status shows:
WP Memory Limit 256 MB/request
…but the problem still persists.

I already have all plugins off, and use no security plugin.
I believe this is something to do with the Host (Bluehost). I have installed on another host (Hostinger) and I do not have the problem. I will be transferring to the new host anyhow so looks like this issue is solved..

You can ask them why this problem occurs, if it works on another host, maybe it’s some unconfigured permissions.

Hi all and happy new year! I also thought that might be server-side problem, but i have already installed x2 Newspaper Themes for my domain.com and sub.domain.com. At domain.com Theme works without any problems but at sub.domain.com Theme doesn’t saving Theme Panel settings. Spinning Wheel is my main hero 😀
So, it can’t be server-side problem. Any advice please?
Newspaper Theme works good at Bluehost. I had no issues with another customer that hosts his website at Bluehost.

So, i have fixed the problem by disabling Wordfence that was installed in another website but in the same html_docs directory.
