Sticky Sidebar

I have two sites running Newspaper and, from what I can tell, the settings are identical.

On my home pages, I want the sidebar to behave like it does on bitemagazine.com.au (have the bar stop scrolling so the bottom ad stays visible at the bottom of the page). How can I replicate that behaviour on vetpracticemag.com.au

Also, I’d like the sidebar to stop scrolling at the bottom like it does on the bitemagazine.com.au home page for all our posts.

Hi,

You can make a row or column sticky -> https://i.imgur.com/sKdRI3s.png -> https://i.imgur.com/ElJpNeZ.png
You can find more details here https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/

Thank you!

Hi,

Please copy the links and open them in a new tab.

Thank you!

Sorry – a filter on this end was blocking the site. Got it now. That’s sorted the home pages. How do I achieve the same on past pages like this one:

I’ve tried turning sticky sidebar on and off in the template settings but not having any luck.

Hello,

I recommend using the single post template, and there you can achieve that. There is an issue with the sticky sidebar for posts that use standard template, which will be fixed in the next update.
For standard templates you can enable the sticky sidebar from Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> Smart Sidebar

Thank you!
