Recently I searched this: https://www.google.co.in/search?q=site%3Atomatoheart.com&rlz=1C1GIWA_enIN627IN627&oq=site&aqs=chrome.1.69i60j69i59j69i57j69i60l3.2831j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=site:tomatoheart.com&newwindow=1&tbm=vid
and there is no result 🙁
Even Google webmaster is showing 176 indexed video.

The only new thing, I did recently is that I switched to KeyCDN from Cloudflare . What’s wrong? Please help
Hi,
I’m not sure what you mean by “no results”
look: http://screencast.com/t/GevnivmOSaX
If you have crawling issues you may give this a shot:

Thanks.
Hey Bogdan,
Thanks for the quick response.
Probably you didn’t understand my thread or haven’t clicked the “search link”I shared above. I am talking about “Google Video search”
Mean search item under video.google.com . Sadly there are no video showing under this. Please check this link again: https://www.google.co.in/search?q=site%3Atomatoheart.com&rlz=1C1GIWA_enIN627IN627&oq=site&aqs=chrome.1.69i60j69i59j69i57j69i60l3.2831j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=site:tomatoheart.com&newwindow=1&tbm=vid
or here is the screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/CAXzFeO.png Already shared the screenswhot of my content as well as video indexing under Google webmaster: http://i.imgur.com/9mQbCe3.png
I never experienced this before. In fact, we have also discussed about video seo here : https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/video-seo-issues-with-video-templates/ but this is for the first time, I am noticing not a single video out of 170+ indexed video on my site.
I am highly concerned about this. No sure or saying that it’s because of Newspaper theme but still it’s very frightening.
If you want to look inside the dashboard, please let me know. I will share the login credentials through mail.
Thank you.
Hi,
I understand now and I see there are no videos shown in google search. But I cannot provide a solution for this as I never saw this happen. Maybe it’s a plugin you used. Please use only the default wordpress video options and the theme featured videos and check again after google re-indexes your videos. Like Alin said in the other thread: We only tested the default implementation and tested plugins.
I’ve never encountered this before so I do not have a solution to provide. Sorry. You will have to test this out and see why it happens.
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
In continuation of my research on this. I noticed one weird thing.
Perhaps, none of YouTube embed videos are being displayed under “Google Video search” now. Even in the previous example that Allin spotted here: http://screencast.com/t/syfqbSqp , these videos are either Vimeo or Dailymotion embed.
Also checked search results for sites like Buzzfeed.com or storypick.com but couldn’t notice even a single YouTube embed video under ” Google video search” results.
Please make a quick test in your own way and let me know if you can find “Google video search” for YouTube embed video on any domain.
Thanks.
Hey Chris,
Yes! Though, while reading a tutorial post http://tubularinsights.com/embedded-youtube-indexed-google/ , I found an example link
I changed the site to “site:tomatoheart.com” and noticed all video links are displaying well.
Here is the link for my search: https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site:reelseo.com#newwindow=1&safe=off&hl=en&tbs=sbd:1&tbm=vid&q=site:tomatoheart.com
Is it due to google.co.in vs Google.com? But still, why wasn’t it showing during my normal search ?
But perhaps, I shouldn’t worry about it now.
Thank you coming here though.

Anybody here to help please?
Let me recap the issue:
Suppose I search for term ” site:tomatoheart.com” under Google video search here :
and it gives no search result 🙁 even when you can see here that 170+ videos are already index by Google : http://i.imgur.com/9mQbCe3.png
Here is the search link: https://www.google.com/#q=site:tomatoheart.com&newwindow=1&tbm=vid
or https://www.google.com/search?tbm=vid&hl=en&source=hp&biw=&bih=&q=site%3A+tomatoheart.com&oq=site%3A+tomatoheart.com&gs_l=video-hp.3…10457.15544.0.15808.21.12.0.5.0.1.488.1301.3-1j2.3.0….0…1ac.1.34.video-hp..20.1.341.jonLWL6rst4#newwindow=1&hl=en&tbm=vid&q=site:tomatoheart.com
But If search it using this link: https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site:reelseo.com#newwindow=1&safe=off&hl=en&tbs=sbd:1&tbm=vid&q=site:tomatoheart.com
It shows various indexed video on Tomatoheart.com under Google Video search as it actually should.
But, then why is this difference. What’s wrong with my usual way of searching? I don’t get any search results while I do the search . Please search for “Site:Tomatoheart.com” at your location under Google Video and see if you get any results.
PS: This has probably nothing to do with Newspaper theme but it’s a strange behaviour. Anybody wants to help me to understand this?
Thank you.

Hi, It is strange indeed as we have no reports on this issue up until now It seems there is a difference between the search on google.com and the search on goolge.co.in or other local google versions.
Romania’s google.ro does not seem to find the videos as well: http://screencast.com/t/NfSyCO26qph
Could it be SEO related maybe? I;m not sure. I’m no SEO expert unfortunately… Maybe some of our users can help on this one.
Thanks.
Google started major change to SERPS (you may want to keep on such things at SearchEngineLand, etc.), and now doing some major changes to roll in AMP placement, and local search optimizations.
Further, they are deprecating some content which is basically “a video from YouTube and nothing else” …
But, you also need a video XML sitemap to make videos show up and you have to submit via your search console account (e.g., try the Yoast video SEO addon, or similar).
Theme obviously does not manage video placement in Google; also be aware “what you see in SERPS” varies based on location, browser, whether logged in/out of Google, IP tracking, etc. — so what you see is highly variable.
THis may not be related

Thank you Chris and Bogdan for the reply.
As Chris said, Probably this has something to do with recent changes in Google algorithm . Though If you will look at my search link above. It will show you google.com not google.co.in
I intentionally tried to make global search using https://www.google.com/ncr but it still didn’t work. And yes, I also used Google Video SEO plugin by a famous developer named Amit Agarwal ( here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/xml-sitemaps-for-videos/ ) , though notable it hasn’t been updated for last 4 years… but the video sitemap ( https://tomatoheart.com/sitemap-video.xml) appears to be working working very well.
One more thing- I am using “XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 4.0.8” for general sitemap not Yoast Plugin’s sitemap .. because it appears to have more functionalities ( like priority settings, ping/notify all SEs, Include sitemap in HTML format, compress sitemaps etc).
Do you have any views on this ?
Thank you.
Hi,
That is not so easy (seriously). Google not allways send notifications through GW, if it was so simple…
You are the only owner and responsable for what you publish and from where.
There are a simple phrase (which means all) spoken by delegates from Google itself & SEO’s professionals: ¡Be original!
I know I’m not really helping you in this thread, but I’m giving you the best advice.
Hi Nairolf,
Thank you for the advice 🙂
But I couldn’t understand the perspective of “Be Original” here. None of the contents on my website are directly stolen or copied from any other websites. Yeh, it’s true that we curate trending news and we still don’t take exclusive interviews or do ground journalism but all our articles are well researched, manually written, plagiarism free and well-reviewed before getting published. We do have a team of dozens of authors who write for us and few editors .
About videos, None of these videos are created by me or my team but are embed in the post, but then this is how trending videos are being covered even by big sites Huffpo or Buzzfeed etc.
All your advises are actually helping me to understand the best practices and method that I should apply in my startup. So, feel free to criticise and comment whatever you think. It means a lot to me
I am trying to make a long-term website with a vision ( not some short-term money making stuff) and hence I really don’t want to do or repeat mistakes if I am doing any.
Thank you.
Hi,
Check your analytics and search if you see significant dropdowns.
If you want to take it seriously, here you have objective about the new changes and not belittle the Phantom Quality.
Is a very very long highway, but worth it
All the best in your project!
