After a while I have decided to redo my websites main page, so I started assembling all blocks and elements on a separate draft page. After couple hours of work, I pressed SAVE button on the top left, some green lines showed up, confirming, that I have saved the page. Then I closed the page, I could see the code that was added to the page. I even saved the draft!
Then I left that page, and when I came back to it, I pressed TAGDIV COMPOSER, to continue editing it, but ALL CHANGES WERE GONE.
I have tested few times now, and always, when I come back to the tagdiv composer, the changes I have made and saved previously are gone. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??
Please assist.
Thank You.
Hello!
Please make sure that the theme and the plugins are up to date.
Please take a look for this advice before updating: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/action-required-please-read-how-to-update-to-the-newspaper-theme-v-10/
I recommend you to make a backup and update plugins and the theme via file transfer, so that you don’t face any error: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hello.
I have not tried any of those things that you wrote, but first thing I tested was: edited the new page with tagdov composer, saved there, exited, and then published the page. It turns out, if I save it as a draft, or save changes only in tagdiv composer – changes wont be saved. It only works if the page is published.
It seems like a bug to me. Please look into it.
Thank You.
Hello @cakvalasc!
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Let us know about your results!
