tagDiv Composer Plugin Conflict With Image Upload in WordPress

After the latest Newspaper theme updates the following error surfaces.

1. “HTTP error when uploading images in WordPress Post.

2. When I try WordPress Image gallery upload, it returns the “HTTP 500 internal error”.

When I disabled the plugin “tagDiv Composer” the issue got solved.

Any quick fix for this?

Hi Catalin,

That didn’t help. But this seems working.

Wp Beginner tutorial

I’ve added the code, which changes “Image editor library used by WordPress”, to my themes functions.php file.

It works for me!

Is it OK to use the code or any problem with the theme? Any future update of the theme will address this issue?

Update your website php version to 7.0 through php selector on your hosting..
