When I enable the TagDiv Composer plugin, the website stops working and instead starts to return a 504 error. The website was working yesterday, however, the issue suddenly appeared today without making any changes.

Please make sure that you have accomplished all the system requirements as in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I have tried only with the tagDiv plugins, and it causes the website to return to an Error 504 state.
Our server meets the requirements, and it is under the High-performance VPS category on your webpage. However, the server load should not be an issue as it is only being accessed by three people. All other applications on the server(which aren’t being used day to day) are operating at the regular speed.
