How long does it take for the Subscriber #s to update? Been 3 days now and it won’t update. The link works, we cleared cache. Still showing 0 subscribers.
Hi,
If you are referring to Instagram, there were some changes made by them a few days ago, see this topic for solutions
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/social-counter-and-instagram-problem/
The Instagram in the counter was affected by the changes, that solution will fix it. Other then that there would be no other counter issues at the moment. The counter should synchronize every 3 hours. Unless maybe there is a strong cache in effect.
If you have problems with the counter, provide a link to your website so we can take a look.
Thanks
Then click on about anyones name. Majority of the problem is Facebook, some Youtube. As you can see the links work fine. Just not showing the #s
I have social widget for twitter, insta and youtube. I replaced the code as Bogdon listed in that earlier insta/counter fix post as a temporary fix, but all my counters still say 0 as well.
@Earned Media From what I can see the Facebook seems to be configured properly, try clearing the cache and see if this refreshes the displayed data.
YouTube should be configured like this example

For all with Facebook problems clear all caching, including browser cache. If possible provide links to your websites so we can take a look. The Facebook like page has to be public with no restrictions in order for the counter to work properly.
My youtube count is not working as well. I’ve cleared the cache on both my site and my browser. My facebook page is public with no restrictions.
We are currently following changes made by Facebook on their side, which may cause issues with our social counter plugin. Such as this topic
– https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49417886/why-does-facebook-graph-api-say-my-account-is-non-active?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=google_rich_qa&utm_campaign=google_rich_qa
Facebook seems to be making changes in the way information is shared and available to third parties. Depending on the changes they will make we will try to provide a solution.
@therookiedad Please provide a link to where YouTube appears in the counter so we can inspect it.
So what is the solution. Ive cleared Cache. Still nothing.

I see your social counter works fine: https://www.screencast.com/t/0VwFSrzYj0I
Thanks.
My apologies, I mean Facebook counter, not Youtube.
I just checked it again, and my facebook counter is still not working.
Bogdan please click on the link I provided in my previous post. You can see its not working there and numerous other spots.
Its configured properly. If you click on the their links, their pages open properly. Just doesnt show the #s
Hello,
It could have been a caching issue as now it works properly on both your pages and posts: https://www.ehuntr.com/2017/08/01/pronghorn-speed/
Please note the social counter is not a live count and is affected by cache.
Thank you!
Your not checking the right spots. Check this link. There are 50 other spots that are not working right either.
The subscriber count has to be public in the YouTube page in order to be picked by the counter, it is not displayed form what I can see
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YOAfW3tM1
Check the settings and make the data public, then check the results.
Thats not the case. It clearly says 6.6k on youtube page.

And here is another one that isn’t showing up and clearly shows the subscriber count.https://www.youtube.com/callinthecountry

Also still no Facebook #s are showing up.
Somehow I missed that, sorry. Try it like this and it should work

The Facebook counter will not work for some users, some keys will not work while others work, this is caused by Facebook. At the moment there is no fix, if that is the case for you. Until Facebook concludes their modifications to their code we cannot do anything about it. The situation is being monitored and when possible a fix will be provided if necessary.
