Hi,

Today I just upgraded from v6 to the latest v7. I am experiencing an issue where the td-mobile-nav (a list of links from the old mobile menu) appears above the rest of my website: studenthub.org.uk . Could you please advise me on how to fix this.

Furthermore, when trying to install the mobile theme plugin 1.0 for Newspaper 7, i get the error:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Mobile_Detect in /home/critendangered/public_html/studenthub.org.uk/wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/Mobile_Detect.php on line 29”

Please advise on how I can fix both issues.

Thanks

Hello,
The first problem is a caching issue. Please make sure you use wp super cache, not other untested caching solutions. Please clear your cache from your current cache plugin and then install wp super cache and set it up according to this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Then try to clear any other cache you might have: a cdn server or hosting cache.
For the second issue, please disable all plugins except visual composer and install the mobile theme without other untested plugins active. The mobile theme as well as the standard theme are not compatible with all plugins unfortunately.
Thank you!

First issue fixed! Thanks. It is a shame that wp-rocket isn’t supported as I find that it is one of the best performance plugins available.

Regarding the mobile theme. Currently (without the mobile theme plugin installed), my website is completely responsive and has the updated design. What does the mobile theme plugin add?

Thanks!

Hello,
Please read this guide to learn about the mobile theme and what it does: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/mobile+theme/ It is an optional plugin.
Thank you!
