Hi,
This will not work from the mobile theme. The author box is a visual composer element and the mobile theme does not use visual composer. You will have to re-create the author box for the mobile view in html in the secondary mobile editor. You can read more about the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
