I’ve been using the News Magazine theme (from Newspaper 7) since Dec. 16. Yesterday it disappeared from my dashboard and the entire site defaulted to a standard WordPress theme.
What should I do? If I reinstall the theme, will I lose all design elements and settings that I customized?

I suggest you doing a full backup to your database and then, make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Clear all your caches and check the results.
