I want to below post insert static text (or HTML object, box etc.) depending on category. Lets say below every post from category Lifestyle will be text (or box) “For more info on Lifestyle tips visit URL1”, below every post from category Food will be text “Interested in Food? Check our website URL2” etc. On other categories there will be no such text. Ideally it would be directly after post before sharing buttons but is not necessary. Or in other words to have special post template for some categories.
Please can you give me tip how to do it? I would prefer to use standard Newspaper objects or settings.
Hi,
With standard or default it would be possible if you manually add that text in a text column, that is entered in a cloud post template. But you would have to create a cloud post template for each category of posts you want to do this for.
So for example start with by importing or creating a cloud post template
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single
Edit the template with the composer and add a column text element in the location you want

Now name this template for example Template for Lifestyle – http://prntscr.com/oadix4
– http://prntscr.com/oadj38
If you want to use the same overall template for other posts belonging to other categories, you can duplicate it – http://prntscr.com/oadjih
Then edit the duplicated template and modify just the text in the column text for the other categories.
Or you could create/import other templates, instead of duplicating the same template. Here is some more information about the cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Please let us know if you need help, or you have more questions.
Thanks
Thank you – it’s great it can be done with standard tagdiv Composer! I have 2 additional question:
1) is there in the post cloud library any post template as much as possible similar to common post template in Newspaper, so I can just put my special box and it will look the same as other posts? Or can I somehow create new template from common post template?
2) where I can assign such a new template for specific category?
Hi,
1. There are some replicas of the predefined post templates, depends on which one you are looking for. For example default post template 2 looks like cloud template 1
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-patricia-urquiola-coats-transparent-furniture-for-glas-italia-with-an-iridescent-sheen/
– https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/single/Single/11
There are a few that aren’t available, ones that use a general background image. Most others should be available or possible to do.
2. Cloud post templates can be applied like the default post templates. Either specifically per post or set to use the general template from the theme panel

Let me know if you need help or have more questions.
Thanks
If I understand it well: when I prepare custom post template, I can either apply it as a general template for all posts on the site or manually apply for single post – if I notice it’s for example Lifestyle post. There is no way how to make such custom post template general template for specific category (for example Lifestyle, so every post from category Lifestyle will use this template)?
