Hi Newspaper team,
I’m using your template on this page:
https://xingbow.com/sao-paulo-betting-operators-launch-new-union/
However, whenever I try to edit the inner page, it redirects me back to the homepage instead of opening the page editor.
Is this a bug? Could you please help me check and advise how to fix this issue?
Hi,
Most of the time this situation appears when something is interfering with the theme, it can be an extra plugin that is used, you can make a test using only tagDiv plugins.
Also, please make sure that all theme settings are set like in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ make sure this code is set – https://i.imgur.com/bWECSLQ.png
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
Thank you for your reply. However, my website is hosted by GoDaddy, and I’m not sure if it’s running on a Linux server.
When I accessed the backend, I found multiple .htaccess files, and I’m not sure which one I need to modify.
Could you kindly assist me or provide the complete path to the correct WordPress directory? Thank you!

Hi,
You can check and if you are using Apache/Linux/ .. servers by checking in Newspaper system status – https://i.imgur.com/w5oXNoV.png
Also, you have more results with .htaccess file because you have search in after allfiles on your host. It should be edited only the one were the WordPress install for your website is set. Please ask your host to help you set the code in the htaccess file.
Hi Calin,
I’ve updated the .htaccess file as you suggested and also cleared the cache, but unfortunately, the template issue remains. Whenever I click on “Edit,” it redirects me to the homepage, and I’m completely unable to make any changes.
Could you kindly provide further assistance? Thank you!

Hi,
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide your temporary wp-admin and cPanel credentials. Also, include the link to this topic so we can identify you faster.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
I just sent an email to contact@tagdiv.com. Could you please help check it? Thanks.
The temporary wp-admin has already been enabled. As for the cPanel credentials, since our hosting is managed through GoDaddy, I don’t have separate login details. Instead, I’ve included our GoDaddy account credentials in the email so you can access cPanel from there. Thank you.
