I had recently upgraded to the newest version of WP. Once I did this, many server errors occurred, which resulted in many 504 errors across the server. Talking to our host provider WP Engine, they informed us that it was something in the theme that was not compatible with WP 4.5.2. Are there any near plans to fix these issues?
The new version of the theme just came out this week, so you might try updating now?
The theme *was* updated for WP 4.5x a couple of weeks ago and has been working fine over here.
You also need to update all the included plugins with the theme, and not the theme by itself; clear your caching, reswt CDN, turn off all plugins except visual composer to make sure site works with base elements.
Not sure that helps, but that is what I went through.
Thank you for your response. I did update the theme and all of its plugins. But 504 errors were occurring. It actually was taking so many resources that my hosts asked that I revert to my previous versions of WP and themes. I’m currently testing with the new version on WP 4.5.1 and the theme seems to work without any issues. The issues only arise with WP 4.5.2.
I am running 7.0 and WP 4.5.2 and I have not received any errors.
Also… 504 Errors that’s a server error, not an application error.

Please notice that the latest version of the theme was fully tested with the latest version of WordPress and still working without any issues. It is most likely a problem with your hosting provider.
