I setup the site and then got the message to enter my purchase code. I did that and it confirmed me. However i noticed on themeforest that there is a new 4.0 version that is out. My site did not get updation request so i have no way to update it to 4. Please guide how i can update it to the latest version ?
I am stuck on an older version of the theme.

If i download and upload a fresh copy of the theme, will it delete all the pages i created?
Like i make 7-8 pages using visual composer and i added content to it as well . Made all settings. And added plugins etc. My site is complete and running with content.
Will all of them be gone if i upload a new copy through FTP ?

Please notice that all of your data (post/page/category) created by you will be loaded into your database. Before each update/fresh install, you should make a full-backup to your database. I made a backup of the site. Then deleted the old theme and uploaded the new theme using FTP. Of just the folder Newsmag.
The site page format and things remained however i lost all the images to my posts. They are came as white and empty in the main page and in individual post page.

Unfortunately, I do not know how you have made your back-up and how you have imported it into your database and notice that case is not related but our theme, sorry! All of these are just WordPress related and not depends on our theme, sorry!

There is not related to back up.
I just replaced the theme folder of newmag and with the new newmage 4 site by FTP. All the images are white and not showing like in the screen shot i sent you.
Rest of the content etc is there.
How is this related to wordpress. With old theme the images are showing. Only when i replace with new newmag 4. The images go white. My site is working fine without the upgrade.

The latest theme version is tested and it should work properly. Most probably a plugin that conflicts with the theme and you have this issue. Do you have an error in browser console?
Please deactivate all your plugins except tagdiv composer(or Visual Composer if you use it), disable any css/js minification, clear all the caches and see how it goes.
If the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can take a closer look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Thank you for a “proper” reply. I turned off the cache and installed the new theme. It worked perfectly.
I have changed my review to reflect this. Although the support i got first was terrible.
