Theme Panel Looping – cannot save any settings

Just updated to the latest version of Newspaper and while in the process of recreating the home page realized that the theme panel is not saving any changes or updates. It goes into a loop that I have to click out of in order to stop it. I checked the php.ini settings and they are all within the parameters mentioned in another post on this same topic. Plug ins are all turned off except for tagdiv composer and tagdiv social.
Please advise?

Hi,

Please check all the parameters to be as specified in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If they are of the same recommended value or higher, there should be no problem in saving theme panel settings.

Those parameters HAVE been set including the modifications to wp-config. The theme is still looping and not allowing me to save any changes. This is a serious problem because i can’t update the theme this way.

Hi,

You can try to reinstall the theme using this method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Then test again using just the plugins you mention from the theme package. Also if you are using a child theme switch to the main theme for testing.
If you still have a problem with the theme panel not saving properly, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will take a look.
