Theme settings for POST in REST API

Hello,

I would like to know if you have any solution for exposing the Post Settings that the Theme Newspaper has. mainly I need the Primary Category to show up in the API for any given POST.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no documentation or solution I could provide you for that. Maybe in the future we will create more advanced tutorials for the theme, for the moment the theme documentation would be basic

Sounds good, I would say for future releases create a plugin add-on that allows the exposure of the extra settings so use in the API. Like in my example I would need to access the Primary Category to trigger other processes.

What I do see is that WP All Import does a good job at exposing custom fields of the theme. It looks like this is the only way to access these currently.
