Theme slows

We have noticed that our site slows after 300 views/minute on google analytics. When the theme was 4.3 we were able to get away with using the setting minify in W3 Total Cache. We were limited before with our server and 1000-1100 views a minute. But in 4.5 we were getting all sorts of errors so we turned this off as suggested by tagdiv team. Now the limit is about 300 and the site begins to really slow down. We are on a dedicated server, run w3 total cache and have a CDN. Is there something we are missing? We are looking now at other themes as this is what our hosting company is recommending. Thank you for your help

The thing is we followed this fully. Our site is very fast when google analytics has <700 people on the site at once. When the site goes beyond that it really starts to bog down. Our hosting company has it come back to the theme. Didn’t know if you had any other ideas. We strugle to change themes because we really like this theme. Thanks for any help

@gomerblog . The problem isnt newspaper theme. You need to set a better config in your server. My site hits more than 150K visits per day on a little VPS whit only 4 cores and 2GB of ram. But im running on Nginx + Memcache and some configs to improve stability and speed.

Conclusion, you need to hire an SysAdmin

thank you for your reply. We can handle 150k per day when we got to the 300k it started to buckle. That is why I asked the question. Do you have a recommendation on a SysAdmin for us? What is your site so I may take a look?
