Hello Federico,
Please try to do that according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (we recommend to update your theme VIA FTP) Also, please update your Visual Composer to 4.11.2, Social Counter 4.0 for better results.
