Too much info when sharing on facebook

Hello,

How do I get rid of category and other text when posting on facebook. I want to keep only the title and get rid of things like “Share on Facebook Tweet on Twitter” etc.

The facebook information that gets shared is not controlled by the theme. You will need to use the seo yoast plugin for it. https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/

Hi Bogdan, I’m experiencing the same problem and have done as instructed using Yoast SEO plugin. How long will it take before the changes are seen?

Please check your page source and see if the open graphs are added properly and test a post using fb debug tool to refresh it(fetch new scrape) – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/
