Translation problem with Polylang

Hello,
I have a two problem.
1) I configured my website primarily in Turkish. Then I installed the Polylang extension and added Spanish language support. I’m just having problem in two places. Category comes in Turkish at the breadcrumb and in the category article with black background on the pictures. Category and post translations work fine everywhere except these two fields.
2) I need to select the “featured” category for the post to appear in the home page banner area. I added the Spanish translation of the same category for Spanish language support. But when I select this category, it does not come to the relevant post banner area in Spanish. In Spanish language support, I changed the category name to “featured” but didn’t work.

I would like your help with these two issues
Thanks.

Hello,

This has nothing to do with Polylang or WPML or any other plugin. I think, this problem is a bug of your theme. I think you don’t fully understand the problem. so I’ll try to explain the problem again with screenshots.

If you are not going to fix the problem, which theme files can I fix for the problem locations? I would like you to direct me on this.

Thanks.

Hello !

As mentioned, by default Newspaper Theme comes in English. You can use the translations tab here: https://www.screencast.com/t/iK1gHPn6Wvj

Any other translations do not come from Newspaper theme.

I hope this was more helpful !

Thank you !

Hello,

First of all, I want to say that I am very sad. I think I made the wrong choice. Previously, I bought many themes from Envato (Betheme etc). You’re one of the worst examples I’ve met in response speed and solution generation.
In this link on your website (https://tagdiv.com/wpml-newspaper-theme-compatibility/) you talk about your compatibility with third-party translation plugins. It was a feature I checked before I bought your theme. But now you say that currently other translations do not come from the Newspaper theme.
I also want to ask you two things. You totally ignore one.
In my previous ticket, if there is no direct solution to this issue. since you’re the manufacturer of the theme, I’ve asked you to share which files I need to edit for this fields. You have no comments or comments about this.

Hello !

We are sorry for the inconvenience created and for the misunderstanding !
Those strings do come from the Newspaper theme but you will need WPML which is the only compatible multi lingual tested to work with Newspaper Theme.

Our support policy states that we cannot offer support for untested plugins: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/ so we cannot offer assistance for polylang or other translation plugins.

Also please note that we answer the topics from Latest to Newest Monday – Friday from 08:00AM to 05:00PM GMT+2 and with the winter holidays we had a huge number of requests.

Thank you !

Hello,

I insistently asked you which files I should browse for this issue. You never answered this question. I found out which theme file was the problem and corrected it. The problem stems from a problematic “if” control. Currently breadcrumb works seamlessly with the polylang plugin in all languages.

Thanks.
