Hi all,
I have updated to the latest V2.1 update but my Twitter social icon shows 0 followers which is wrong. If I go into widgets, delete my Twitter username then add it again it displays correct follower count (101) but a few hours later it appears at 0 again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please update the plugin, delete the tagDiv Social Counter plugin and instal it again from recommended plugin list.(or from plugin folder)

Thanks for getting back to me. I deleted the plugin then selected Appearance > Install Plugins and installed it again, however it still gives me version 1.0 and does not work with Twitter.
How can I get the new plugin .zip file?

I have the same problem!
I deleted the current plugin and downloaded the latest package from ThemeForest. I installed the plugin zip file but it gives me the same version (1.0) and the 0 counter is still on my theme.
Where I can download a different version of that 1.0?

@cugnawi if you instaled the plugin from latest pack from themeforest this is the latest version(v. 1.0)

@Marius I think I know whats the problem.
When developing on a local server widget crashes when you set a twitter account.
On a web server works fine.
Please fix this, with some exception handling or whatever is happening.

This does work. Just login via FTP, navigate to plugins folder delete the social counter plugin folder and reupload new version from downloaded theme package.

@Marius I updated plugins and theme to latest version 3.0 and still social counter crashes with twitter on local server. However, works OK on web server.
Local server: windows 8.1, wamp server 2.4
Web server: hostgator hatchling package
It somehow crashes something on a local server running on windows.
If you want me to send you all source code and passwords give me an email address.

Please clear all caches and refresh the id in the social counter. That means adding a new id like cocacola and hitting the save button. and then reverting to your own. I tested your id on my social counter and it worked as expected. If you still have trouble with this, please send us an email at contact@tyagdiv.com and provde wp-admin so we can inspect the counter. please also include a link to this topic.
