Hi
I would like to have two types of single posts:
1. featured photo displayed in the post
2. without the highlighted photo displayed in the post
I would like to modify both post templates in theme panel.

You can achieve this only by using cloud library templates. As you can see here you can create and fully customize your templates using the tagDiv Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
