Thanks to GoDaddy’s total ineptness, I have recently had to rebuild a website that has existed for 7 years. I have been using the Newspaper theme for 6 of those years. I chose the UK theme this time as it resembled the Magazine theme I previously used. There are a number of issues I would like to resolve asap. Most telling, is that the first rows or columns on every category page are universally the same. That does not fly for me. I want to only see posts that are relevant to the category chosen. For links 1 and 2, you will see the tags underneath the category name but if you check out the page, the posts for that category are not even on the page. Beauty and Health – only two posts have been created but they are not on the page. How is that possible? As I said, I am only starting to rebuild the site and have added three-hundred posts but does that matter? I didn’t have these issues with the previous theme
Also, when on a specific category page, I am seeing tags for other categories that are irrelevant to the subject.

Make sure that every post has been assigned a category.

I will see articles about zodiac and horoscopes. This category is new and for Indie musicians that I have started to add. It is the same across the board. If I click on any parent category, I see the Home Page astrology posts. I don’t really care if they show up twice on the Home Page, I care that these posts are showing up on pages that have no relation. In the Indie category page, for example, I only want to see Indie posts. thanks again, much appreciated
sorry, I should add that if I am on the Indie Page and change the filter for the astrology posts that are also featured on the Home Page, the new filtered posts will appear on every page. In other words, changing from any page makes it a universal change

Do you have two or more categories for a post? If the filter is set only for a category, then it should display only the current category posts.
