Unable to upload media

Dear team,
i am unable to upload media in newspaper theme. however i checked with other themes and installations, i am able to do so.
Please help. what i am missing. when i try to upload- i am getting http error.

I am also receiving this error. We are following the theme’s requirements on: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Upon upload, this file /wp-admin/async-upload.php throws a 500 Internal Error, thus showing ‘http error’ on image upload.
