I need to update my WordPress Newspaper theme. How do I do this in the easiest way possible? And will updating my site delete all the customized work I have done on the previous update of newspaper theme? What is the best way to backup my site?

If you have custom modification to the theme’s files you will need to re-add them as when you update the theme these files will be overwritten, but the the styling options you’ve set in the WordPress Theme Customize or settings should not be affected.
