Category pages that have no content are no longer working.

The menu is not working and there is a big Q in the middle of the page.

The update broke my site BIG TIME. The prebuilt theme was gone as were all the tweaks made to the layout. The iframe code we use for advertising blocks in the widgets was gone. Out logos were gone.

I was able to restore the website back to yesterday’s backup…

This is how a category page looks like if there is content:

Clearly the updated theme is not working as it should….

How do you fix this problem? Apart from this I have not seen any issues yet.

I had to revert back to 10.3.9.1 and drop 10.4 for now. I have several empty categories and as can be seen from the screen shots above this breaks the entire menu for some reason.

Error 500 after update. Mobile version work ok. After deactivating “tagDiv Standard Pack”, site starting to work but with errors. When trying to edit home page, showing this error:Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)

Since updating to 10.4, my site is no longer displayed. Blank page.

WP Super Cache might have to be emptied? I also had a white page for a while and I think it was due to the cache updating in the middle of the update or similar.

Can someone from tagdiv explain how to fix this?

Yeah, I got same problem in Category view.

Cmon tagdiv team..

The only problem we have observed so far is social share icons are not displayed on mobile and AMP pages.

Post count: 10

OK. Deactivated supercache, social counter, speed booster
after that enabled and it helped a bit

EDIT – Yeah, for 10.3.9.1…
for 10.4 nothing helps

Looks like VC composer is creating some problems. Disabled and now everything looks +/- fine

upgraded to 10.4 and everything worked. Loading was also improved better with the CSS selector. Unfortunately I had to go back to 10.391 because the AMP pages were giving so many errors. Having had to install the WP AMP PLUGIN together with the MOBILE (before I only had the second to travel light and it worked very well) the graphics had changed and the pages had many errors. I tried to clear cache, plug in put and remove plugins but nothing changed. Even in the end the mobile PLUg had disappeared, despite the fact that from the plugin page it gave me activated there was no longer even the option in the theme panel : “MOBILE” disappear… . then new system with AMP with uglier graphics, anonymous, in a broken page and full of errors. I hope it settles soon because the new update was terrific as a loading improvement (from 15 to 55 mobile, from 60 to 96 desktops) doing nothing. Thank you

Can you please tell me how you reverted back?

Damn I was wrapping my head around the issues I’ve faced after the update. Thank god I’ve found this post, reverting to 10.3.9.1 fixed it for me.

Please test your updates before sending them live…

@amanda:
shure, it is easy:
in admin panel: newspaper > welcome > updates
below, where you see “newspaper time machine”
then you choose the version you are shure worked well
then “install version”

ps: it is possible to find very little differences from before update, but in few minutes you have same site of before

Hello,

The problems about categories/tags/404 pages and social share on the mobile theme are fixed, all you have to do is to deactivate the tagDiv Composer, delete and re-install it again from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/WLy01lbc

Thank you for understanding!

So the category bug has been fixed? We just need to reinstall tagDiv composer?

I reverted to the old theme as well. Far too many bugs right now and I don’t have time to fix all the issues.
