The plugin cannot be activated so you can ignore the message.
As for the social counter, please make sure you use the latest version of the plugin (4.1) This version is included in the latest theme version 7.1.1 and then simply disable and delete your current social counter and install it again from the new theme package you download from envato.
After you are up and running with version 4.1, use this guide to set it up: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/
After everything is set up, please clear all caches as the counter is affected by cache.
