Use of "special" characters such as £ in a widget to go on a sidebar

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help?

Trying to add a Woocommerce Product widget in the sidebar to display Products which ideally includes a price for the product with a currency symbol. According to tagDiv’s latest info on Sidebars (which has been updated since my last visit to this page!), the use of “special” characters in the sidebar content/widget results in the removal of the sidebar content.

Removing the price of the product from the designated spot on the product listing also doesn’t seem to help, and of course, doesn’t help when people are looking to sort the various products on the product page by price…

Anyone know a way around this issue – many thanks for help!

Regards

Ian

Hi,

If you want to set in sidebar some Woocommerce Product you can set them in Appearance in text element http://prntscr.com/p0m3ty or using tagDiv Composer and set the code in column text or text with title http://prntscr.com/p0m48o -> http://prntscr.com/p0m4ku
Shortcodes included with WooCommerce -> https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/ -> http://prntscr.com/p0mcfg -> http://prntscr.com/p0mckr

Thank you!
