Hi – is there an option to allow TD composer to be used on Posts?

or is there a 3rd party plugin builder i can use that doesn’t duplicate the page content on the post

i’ve tried Beaver builder, Elementor and they work fine except they duplicate the post so i see the post again underneath Author related posts

any ideas?

Hi,

Unfortunately Elementor plugins is not tested with our theme, we have a spacial builder made for Newspaper theme ( tagDiv Composer ) and now you can do a lot more using tagDiv Cloud Library
Newspaper Theme 9.5 Update: What’s new in the Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-newspaper-theme-9-5-update/

Note that the tagDiv Composer is a builder made for create/edit pages and templates from tagDiv Cloud Library not for creating posts, indeed you can create/edit single post templates from cloud library for post.

If you have the WordPress 5 you can use the Gutenberg editor, this one have more elements then classic editor ( and you can find the classic elements too ).

Also you can use the visual composer ( WPBackery ) plugin on post -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Thank you for your understanding!

We use Newspaper 9.5 for our national political news website and for a hyperlocal one here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

It serves most of our needs but not all and I use Elementor with the Newspaper theme on Blue Ridge Muse because it allows making rapid changes on image sizing and proportions on both single posts and the home page and it adds some additional functionality I need on that site.

I’ve had to put in some workarounds but the time is worth it. On Capitol Hill Blue, we often use multiple authors for bylines, which requires use of third-party equipment because Newspaper has not added that capability, even though a number of us users of the software has requested that feature be added.

Newspaper is a good theme but understand that different users need additional capabilities. Just simply saying “use our visual composer or else” does not serve the purposes of every user.

I know you get a lot of requests for changes and/or modifications but please realize that multiple bylines are a way of life for many news organizations but that’s another topic for another time.

Hi,

Indeed for the moment there is no option in our theme for multiple authors, but we’ll try to find some solutions for multiple authors on posts for the coming updates.

Thank you for your understanding!
