I know that AdRotate is not officially supported with Newspaper, but many of us use it.
Has anyone perhaps figured out how to use it with WP Super Cache?

Based on user feedback there are no issues between the theme and the Adrotate plugin. It is recommended by theme users when you want to have more control over the ads, which the plugin offers.
Maybe some of the plugin users can share their experiences with it, or maybe they even tried that solution.
If I remember correctly, TD Speed Booster won’t activate due to incompatibility with AdRotate. That’s why I said it’s “unsupported”.
But yes, if anyone has managed to get those two (AdRotate & Super Cache) to play nicely I’d love to hear it.
I’m also interesting in this. I’m using Newspaper and AdRotate. AdRotate has two supported cache plugins, W3 Total Cache and Borlabs Cache. But WP Super Cache seems to be the recommendation for Newspaper.
So my question is what is the best cache plugin for the Newspaper and AdRotate combination?
1) W3 Total Cache
2) WP Super Cache
3) Borlabs Cache
I love the way that newspaper theme works and functions, but without a cache plugin it’s very slow.

That is not the only cache plugin that you can use with our theme, unfortunately for the moment is the only one that has been tested and we can provide a configuration for settings.
If you want you can try other cache plugins too, there are many topics on our forum about Autotomize, WP Rocket and other cache plugins, you can use any of them, but we can not help with the configuration for those plugins, sorry!

I tried both WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache and neither seemed to improve the Page Speed scores and both caused other issues even when using no other plugins other than TAGDIVs were running. So, I’m just using server level caching. In actual use, the speed seems good without using a plugin for caching.
